Spectacular Times 06: Food (A6)
The Spectacular Times booklets were compiled and edited by Larry Law in the late 70's and early 80's, serving as a brief introduction to the ideas of Situationism. Each consisted of newspaper clippings, quotations, illustrations, and handwritten text by Law. Very witty and still relevant! Spectacular Times 06: Food.
For many years various anarchist publishers in the UK have talked about reprinting the classic Spectacular Times pocket book series. Discussions about how to package them, and how to edit them were had and money was even lent for scanning purposes. At long last Active and Agit Press have come up with the goods. All 14 original issues are reprinted as they were (except for colour covers) and a new booklet Paradise Now!: The Story of Spectacular Times has been produced. They are available individually and also in a complete box set with all the booklets housed in a full-colour card slipcase.
